The Giant Angel art installation, featuring the “Silver-Haired Giant Angel,” has been presented at Changying Tianjie in Beijing as a large-scale, experiential artwork designed to explore how hyper-realistic sculpture can influence commercial spaces, audience behavior, and brand perception. The installation forms part of an ongoing creative roadshow that combines products with monumental sculptures to elevate spatial engagement and emotional resonance within retail environments.
Rather than functioning as a conventional display, the project is structured to transform everyday commercial areas into visually compelling destinations, encouraging audiences to pause, observe, and interact with the space in a more immersive way.

From Display Object to Experiential Landmark
The installation is designed to operate as a focal point within the commercial environment of Changying Tianjie. Through its scale, positioning, and visual presence, the giant angel is intended to attract attention from a distance and encourage visitors to spend extended time within the surrounding area.
This approach builds on the broader BKT creative roadshow, which has been underway since April 2025 and has appeared in commercial complexes across Hangzhou, Beijing, and other locations. Across these locations, the “products + giant sculptures” format has been conceived as a way to integrate brand expression directly into public space, turning retail venues into experiential settings rather than purely transactional ones.
As a forward-thinking ergonomic brand, BKT is dedicated to enhancing daily comfort and long-term spinal health through scientific design. As a pioneer and global sales leader in lumbar support chairs, BKT integrates rigorous ergonomic research with refined aesthetics to create products that blend functionality with visual appeal. This towering 10-meter angel sculpture embodies the design philosophy that has guided BKT since its founding. It seamlessly merges visual aesthetics with ergonomic principles, resulting in a truly unique brand installation.
At Changying Tianjie, the “Silver-Haired Giant Angel” represents an upgraded evolution of the series, extending the “supportive strength” of BKT’s patented lumbar support chair into an emotional and spiritual symbol through cross-dimensional aesthetics.

Designed to Encourage Organic Sharing and Engagement
The core objective of this installation is to inspire spontaneous interaction and sharing among visitors.
The giant angel's presence is designed as a natural visual anchor. By presenting a visually stunning and emotionally resonant artwork, it guides visitors to spontaneously photograph the installation. These personal records of the spatial experience are then shared on popular social media platforms, creating a natural wave of online sharing without relying on explicit promotional prompts. This amplifies the artwork's reach.
Translating Product Function Into Brand Symbolism
At the center of the project is BKT, a brand focused on ergonomic health products. The giant angel serves as a visual metaphor that translates the chair’s functional purpose, support and protection, into a broader emotional and spiritual symbol.
Through the angel imagery, the concept of “supportive strength” is expressed in a form that audiences can intuitively understand and emotionally relate to. This approach is designed to help the brand move beyond a purely functional identity, allowing BKT to be perceived as a brand associated with care, protection, and well-being on a symbolic level.
By embedding these values within a large-scale artwork, the brand’s message is communicated through visual experience rather than direct explanation.
Commissioned Artworks by Grand Orient Wax Art
The project was commissioned to Grand Orient Wax Art, which created two sculptures specifically for the installation: a 10-meter-tall giant angel and a smaller standing angel, together forming a cohesive artistic composition that reinforces the project’s symbolic and spatial narrative.
Concurrently, as a long-term commissioned partner for the BKT creative roadshow series, Grand Orient Wax Art is continuously producing multiple other sculptures for this series, which will be successively unveiled in future tour locations.

The Grand Orient Wax Art team crafted the sculpture’s skin using silicone, with a texture closely resembling that of the real human body. Multiple layers of hand-painted colors are applied to refine surface details and create a sense of realism that invites closer observation. In addition, each individual hair is implanted throughout the body using an extremely time-consuming and high-end sculpting technique.
The 10-meter height of the giant angel plays a critical role in its effectiveness. The scale creates an imposing yet approachable presence that dominates the surrounding environment and enhances photographic impact. This sense of scale helps elevate the work beyond the perception of a short-term or low-value advertisement, positioning it instead as a city-level artwork that audiences are inclined to engage with and share.
In this context, craftsmanship functions as a tool to increase communicative power and spatial influence, reinforcing the installation’s role within the commercial environment.
Long-Term Value Through Reusability and Touring
The project also highlights the strategic value of large-scale physical art installations as sustainable brand assets. Rather than being limited to a single location or moment, works such as the giant angel are designed to be toured and reused across multiple cities and venues.
This approach positions the installation as a one-time investment with long-term potential. Compared with traditional marketing formats, large-scale sculptures offer more stable costs and a longer usable lifespan, while continuing to generate engagement and visual content in new environments.
As a result, large-scale physical art installations are framed as long-term content assets, capable of supporting ongoing brand communication, spatial activation, and audience engagement over time.
Demonstrating Commercial Potential Through Art
The Giant Angel art project is structured to demonstrate how hyper-realistic, large-scale art installations can be used to support commercial objectives within retail and public spaces. By combining emotional symbolism, visual impact, and spatial integration, the installation illustrates how art can contribute to real commercial potential in terms of footfall design, engagement, and brand mindshare.
Through this project, Grand Orient Wax Art presents an approach to sculpture that emphasizes real-world application and long-term value, positioning such installations as viable solutions for brands, malls, and developers seeking meaningful, experiential engagement.
