The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (1-844-337-6975) now offers updated training options that allow students to become fully certified to start a new career in a medspa or home clinic, without quitting their day jobs.

—
New and aspiring aestheticians across Canada can now access updated courses from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, which allow students to become fully certified in popular medspa techniques, or to improve their existing certifications, without quitting their day job.
More information about the convenient course options, and the full list of procedures taught in each course can be found at https://academy.dermysk.com
The latest updates apply to all levels of courses from the Dermysk Academy, including the Basic training for new medspa workers, and the Master-level course which includes all of their aesthetics training in a single class. With the new courses, students can complete the majority of their schooling online, with as little as one week of practical training required.
With the Basic training program, these updates will allow students to become fully certified in up to a dozen popular medspa techniques while learning primarily from their own homes. Although these techniques do require a certain amount of hands-on training, the Dermysk Academy has condensed this portion of the training into a one-week intensive program.
Before students begin their practical training, they will receive access to online training modules that explore the history and current state of the medspa industry, local laws and requirements, and the science behind how each treatment works. After completing these training modules students can schedule their practical training at any Dermysk location across Canada.
During the hands-on portion of the course, each student will receive instruction from Dermysk training specialists in the use of each medspa tool and technique, while using either real or simulated clients for practice. By the end of the course, each student should be fully capable, experienced, and certified to provide these techniques either in a local medspa or from a home clinic.
Graduates from the Basic training will be certified to perform techniques such as micro-blading, derma-planing, fractional ablation, and IPL hair or tattoo removal. While these techniques will allow students to begin working in their new career immediately, they may also return at any time for additional training in complex procedures, such as body sculpting and stem cell treatments.
An Academy spokesperson explained, “Tailor your learning experience to fit seamlessly into your schedule, progressing at your own pace. No more trade-offs between work, family, and personal commitments. With our innovative approach, you’ll receive the full benefit of our industry-leading curriculum while maintaining the balance you desire.”
